How does DocuWare determine filenames for forms with attached files when downloading?
Answer:
The filename used for a form document depends on how the Document Name index field is configured within the connected file cabinet and form design. If the Document Name field is not explicitly mapped or defined, DocuWare defaults to using the form configuration name as the filename. However, if the attached file field is mapped to the Document Name index field in the file cabinet, the form document will inherit the attached file’s original name when downloaded.
