Behavior:
Tiffmaker troubleshooting - Tiffmaker does not print.
Solution:
Please check the following steps if Tiffmaker does not work on your system (Please test after every following step whether the printing over Tiffmaker functions):
1. Set a user with enough rights
In the DocuWare administration on the menu "local" TIFFMAKER configuration -> select the TIFFMAKER printer. On TIFFMAKER port properties select the tab "network".
In the tab "network " you have to define a user, password and domain which have access on the printer (Enough rights to print, for example, domain administrator or local administrator).
2. Check printer configuration
Right click on DocuWare TIFFMAKER printer and select printer configuration -> Tab "security". Assign the group "Everybody" full access.
3. Check the NTFS rights for the following paths and assign the group "Everybody " full access (for each folder):
C:\documents and settings\user\Temp\ (user Temp folder)
C:\Windows\temp\ (Windows temp)
\\servername\basket\ (folder of the basket)
4. Check the rights for WMI Control
Right click on computer -> Manage. In the server manager right click on WMI Control and choose properties -> Tab "security".
Select the path root -> CIMV2 and click on the button "security". Assign the group "Everybody" full access.
5. Check the data implementation prevention
Right click on the computer -> properties -> advanced system settings.
In the system settings choose the Tab "Advanced" and select the button "settings" in the area of performance.
In the power options select the tab "data implementation prevention".
In the tab "data implementation prevention" select the upper option: "Switch on data implementation prevention only for necessary Windows programs and Windows services".
