Behavior:
If you have a 64-bit Windows system and you add a new DSN system for an ODBC connection using the standard ODBC Data Source Administrator (Start / Control Panel / Administrative Tools / Data Sources (ODBC), the DSN system can only be used by 64-bit applications.
DocuWare does not work with this 64-bit DSN system (up to DocuWare 7).
Solution:
To create a new DSN system for an ODBC connection for 32-bit applications, open the ODBC Data Source Administrator via C:\Windows\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe.
The newly created DSN system can be used by DocuWare.
