Cannot open Document Processing in Configurations

Customer has enabled ssl on the DocuWare v7.3 web server. The web connections in DocuWare Administration have been edited to reflect https:.
I get the following errors when accessing Document Processing in Configurations:
1) Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel with authority 'Server host name' if the LocalWebServices value in the dwmachine.config is set to http.

2) The provided URL scheme 'https' is invalid: expected 'http'. Parameter name: via if the LocalWebServices value in the dwmachine.config is set to https.

Other aspects of DocuWare are working as expected using https in the url.
