I have a customer, that we are working on building a task list workflow. They want to filter the "Coding" task by department Number, so only the departments you have access to are the ones that you can see ( in my mind that is an index Value Profile). they currently leverage Custom profiles for each department ( there is a search and store dialog for each department number.... Dont ask me why I have no clue). I am trying to get the index value profiles to work but I am running into issues with getting the filtering to actualy work. Maybe I dont understand the full setup scope of Index Value profiles. Do I need to make sure that the index value profile is doing the "Search" portion of the permissions for it to filter.
I am just trying to prevent having to make an individual task list for every department number in order to get the filtering done.
