So the problem is clearly described.

A good new feature would a checkbox in a configuration like 're-identify configuration after document split'.
But I'm afraid that this will never come...

So all we can do is use additional tools to split a stack by barcode before putting the splittet documents into the hotfolder of DocuWare Import.

Does anybody know good tools to do this??

Hey Bob,

I had a similar need and tested following szenario:
- any document has a barcode label with its doc-type on the first page
- for any document type there is an import configuration
- each import configuration is looking for the corresponding barcode
- if found, the configuration is automatically choosen
- barcode is also used to seperate a stacked scan into multiple documents
- single scanned or stack scanned documents are scanned into ONE SINGLE folder.
- DocuWare Import (Desktop Apps) is watching this folder

My results:
- for single documents everything is nice and working
- stacks are completely (!!) processed according to the first matching automatic choosen configuration

Summary:
Because DocuWare 'locks' the configuration as soon as configuration is found, all following pages/documents in a stack are processed with this configuration.

If anybody has a solution I would be glad to read it here.
 

In my understanding DocuWare Printer is part of the DocuWare Desktop Apps.
Therefore the users machine which is printing provides the ressources for handling.
Check the task manager while printing. Would be nice to have your feedback about that.

I also failed in finding information about the Data Export Tool.
Sure, they want to sell it? :-)

Was genau ist mit Eskalationsstufen denn gemeint?
Die Freigabehierarchie einer Kostenstellengruppe?

Falls so, wäre es möglich einem freigebenden Benutzer lesenden Zugriff auf das Hilfs-Archiv, das diese infos enthält, zu geben.

Ob das dann aber durch ein Indexwertprofil auch so berechtigt werden kann, dass ein User nur die Einträge seiner Kostenstellengruppen sieht, bezweifle ich. Hat das schon mal jemand probiert?

Aktuell geht das leider nicht. Mit Version 7.1 und dem neuen Feld-Typ "Tabelle" gibt es folgende Einschränkung:
Sobald in einer Workflow-Aufgabe ein Tabellenfeld enthalten ist, sind automatische Stempel deaktiviert.

Habe gehört es soll mit der nächsten Version möglich werden.
War aber keine "offizielle" Aussage...

als DocuWare Partner haben wir das Problem, dass die Version der Desktop Apps ja zur jeweiligen Installtion passen muss.

Da wir Kunden mit verschiedenen Versionsständen haben, fragen wir uns, wie es andere machen und ob für das Problem vielleicht bereits eine praktikable Lösung besteht.
