How do I create a global variable in the Workflow Designer?

Answer:
In order to create a global variable in the Workflow Designer, please do the following:

  1. Once you have opened your workflow, click on "Variables" from the left panel and expand this section.



     
  2. Press "+ Add variable" to start the creation process.



     
  3. When the new window opens, provide the variable's name, data type, and length.

The following data types are available when creating a global variable

- Text
- Integar
- Decimal
- Date
- DateTime
- Keyword
- User of a Group
- Role
- Substitution rule of a substitution list

Press "OK," then your Global Variable is ready for use in your workflow.
