DW 7 - Images on Mapped remote Storage
I am setting up a multi-server DocuWare v7 install. I have an Enterprise License. Plan for 2 from end web servers, 2 back end processing servers, reparate sql server\instance, and storage of the very large image collection on a SAN that is mapped as a local drive.
My question is this: Which servers need to have the SAN mapped on them? Fron and Back end, Backend, or Front end servers?
It use to be that the content server was the only one that had to have access. Now, I am not so sure.

Full-Text Scheduling in v7
In v6 you could schedule the Full-Text extraction to happen a certain times to free up cpu and mempry for production hours. KBA-35463
v7 seems to not have the same settings available. Is there a new procedure to schedule the hours that Full-Text extraction runs?

I believe full-text is
I believe full-text is required. You can run it on another server as it is a resource hog by itself.
Keep in mind the reason this fails is that DW creates all new cabinets with full-text enabled.

Cloud AD User Synchronization Tool
I have figured out how to use this now and see that there are only two AD attributes that can be used as the user login name: sAMAccountName and userPrincipalName.
Has a request been submitted to make this attribute free form entry so I could pull something like an attribute EMPLOYEEID from the AD account? I have tried to change it in the xml configuration that is created and it is ignores and the sAMAccountName is used instead.
This would be very helpful as I have an HR department that stores everything with the EmployeeID and if I could get the EmployeeID as the login name I could set up a filter based on their login name to the field EmployeeID.

DocuWare Printer - Default to Letter Size
I know in version 6.12 and prior that the DocuWare Printer has always been defaulted to A4 (European) size by default when the Despkop App is installed. This has always been an issue for me because the page is taller and narrower than the actual LETTER size page. I know there has been a Registry hack to overcome this but is there a better way to have an end user (WebClient) set this for themselves so that their pages will be produced in LETTER size by default?

I have done this in several
I have done this in several ways. AI has a setting for Items not matched and you can set a fixed value to a field whne nothing matches. This way you can determine the ones that have run throught the process but did not match anything.
I use one of two methods; 1. Field called STATUS and set it for Matched when it does and No Match when it does not.
2. Create a new field called AI and write the info there.
This way you can run a search against the status and see all that conform. And if you have TASK LIST you can set a list for it.

Cloud User Synchronization Desktop App
Looking for instructions/guidance on setting up the DocuWare User Synchronization with the Desktop app and Cloud Account.
Here is what I have and it does not work...won't connect.
UPDATE:
You must be logged into a computer on the domain and have access to the LDAP and then it works. If you are not, you will get error messages that may make you belive that the DocuWare Cloud is refusing the connection.

v7 Selective Select Lists Validation
A support case has been opened for this issue

We have attempted to perform
We have attempted to perform the upgrade 3 times and it has failed each time. 2 of the times with DW Support. Seems their is either corruption in the DB or something is too slow. Just checking my options.
What about setting up a new server with the same fields as the old, moving the document store and Restoring the documents using the associated xml info?
