Have a question regarding access levels in FORTIS. Can we create a general user ID / Password that would only give access to ONE individuals Personnel file based on specific search criteria and disallow open search?

Example: If someone "general employee" or auditor requests to see a specific personnel file, we have to go in and print that personnel file out of FORTIS. Our goal would be to sit the employee or auditor in front of the computer and log them in under a general use Id / password and enable to pull up their unique personnel file for viewing/auditing.

Can we enable this with a SSN lookup or some other kind of PIN that requires the individual to only query their records without the ability to open search?

Thanks for your help, Terry

Hi Terry,

Though you could setup a Query that have the parameters hardcoded into it, you wouldn't be able to restrict the use of the Browse button which would allow the user to effectively do an open search..
