I have a client that is using DocuWare workflow. They want the users to enter notes into each decision, then when it comes to the next decision the new user can see the previous users notes. I created a Notes text field in the file cabinet, in DocuWare it can be any limit on characters, yet in the workflow manager the standard text field is limited to 255 characters. I then created a keyword area in the file cabinet and it is limited to 255 characters, yet if I create a keyword field in workflow manager it can be any character length. Seems like in the workflow manager the text field and keyword field are opposite of what they can be in the file cabinet.
With these limitations I am unable to show all of the notes, or in the workflow take all the notes a user wants to enter. The max is 255 if they are entering into a text field.
Is there something I am missing, or is there a better way of showing a notes history in the workflow?
