Behavior: 
When attempting to edit an index entry, the following error is displayed;
 
"The value 'cannot be assigned to the field' because of the wrong format."





Solution:
The behavior is a result of having a field mask assigned to the result list to prevent any values that fail to adhere to the field mask's ruleset as per your Organization's needs. Please contact your system's administrator to review the need for the field mask. If you need to remove the assigned field mask, please refer to the following guide;
 
1. Navigate to the Configurations via the Web Client dropdown under your user name.


2. Select the File Cabinets plugin and edit the file cabinet where the behavior occurs.




3. Open the Dialogs tab, and open the Result List where the error message was presented.


4. Next, open the Index dialog tab, and select the Field Name that initially presented the described error message.


5. From the Field mask dropdown, remove the Field mask assigned, then select OK.


6. Once completed, save the changes and refresh the Web Client. You can now successfully edit the index entry without error.
