Question:
Why does DocuWare keep inactive connections open (sleeping) in the database?
Answer:
By product design, inactive connections that are open in the database are a normal function of DocuWare. DocuWare pools its database connections to ensure quick access to the database. At a minimum, there is one pool per database per process. A pool can have up to 100 connections by default. Multiple pools per database are also possible.
