Behavior:
When attempting to create a new user account in Natif.AI, you receivie the following error message.
User creation error Request failed with status code 409
Solution:
The error 409-status code indicates that an account already exists for the provided email address. In order to resolve this error, you will need to reset the account password to regain access.
Since an email address can only be used once in the Natif.AI environment, if you need additional accounts created using the same email, you will need to enter an alias such as the following.
TestAccount@PetersEngineering.com becomes TestAccount+Testing@PetersEngineering.com
Adding a + sign, followed by some identifying text, creates an alias. When sending emails, the + sign and everything between it and the @ symbol will be removed so you still receive emails to your main email account.
