Upgrade and install on a new server
I want to upgrade a 6.9 system to version 7 and also move to a new server. I also would like to take advantage of the V2 version of the DW internal database. Can I run the V7 installer on the new server for Database only and then restore to it? I don't think I've seen a way to install V7 components individually.
Thanks,

I'm having the same issue
I'm having the same issue with a cloud customer that has not been upgrade to 7 yet.

Database error. Check that all values for unique field are valid
Does anyone have any knowledge of this error when storing an indexed document. "Database error. Check that all values for unique fields are valid". There are no unique fields in this dialog, it just started happening out of the blue and the error seems to sometimes disappear after multiple tries. Version is 6.6. See screenshot.
Update - document will store on second try, however if multiple documents are highlighted and stored the error is "CANNOT FIND FILE CABINET..." and the GUID listed is not the GUID of the intended file cabinet.
Thanks,

Getting the file information task has failed! Error
Has anyone seen this error before when using a search dialog?
Getting the file information task has failed!
Maybe network access to the storage locations?

Performance
Thanks Phil. I was wrong about the version, it is 6.9 not 6.6. But assuming this is irrelevant, I take your point. The system was installed years ago and has grown significantly since. I will open an issue with support.
Thanks again,

Slow performance
A version 6.6 system customer is complaining about slow performance when storing documents and loading images in the viewer. There is plenty of space on the server drives, it is an 8 core system with 8 GB of RAM. There are 677,074 documents currently in the data table and the system was re-started last night.
We have noticed processor spikes of up to 100% every few seconds that seem to be associated with MySQLd-nt.exe and Tomcat8.exe. This seems logical as when each document gets stored it would require a response from both of these services.
Is this behavior expected and would it cause a noticeable slowdown in performance? The customer did not complain until 2 days ago. Prior to that all seemed well.
Thanks,

Upgrade path to version 7 document
I need to send an 'Upgrade path to version 7 document' to an on premises end user but cannot seem to find it anywhere. Do we have such a document?
Clus for the clueless appreciated,

Log file cleanup
I have a version 6.6 system with over 25GB of log files in C:\inetpub\logs\LogFiles\W3SVC1. The system is running very slowly as the free space on C: is pretty low. Is there any reason to not delete all this fluff?
Thanks,

Last Access field in System Entries
Am I correct in assuming that if the Last Access field in the System Entries (Result list->Edit Index Entries->System Entries) contains the user who has just now retrieved the document and exact time that it is at the moment he is viewing the record, that there has been no previous access to this document and that this is the very first entry? Version is 6.6.
Thanks,
