this is an FYI to something we setup for a client who needed additional security restrictions for their docuware cloud access...
we have a client which is a bank and they wanted to limit their docuware cloud access to onsite branch or VPN connected access only. we reached out to docuware to see if this is something they can do from their azure tenant/cloud environment but they could not and did not provide any other solution to accommodate this request. we then looked into other ways to limit access and came across azure conditional access policy with named location. luckily our client was in the process of migrating to azure AD so we enabled SSO through azure AD and worked with them to configure the conditional access policy and this feature helped get the access restrictions they were looking for.
just wanted to put this out there for others to know that restricted access is definitely possible.
thanks

i have spoken with docuware and they currently say it isn't possible but does anyone have a workaround to write data to a table field from either a csv or another index field? looks like autoindex doesnt allow it and neither does workflow manager
-
i really wish they were...someone told me that the forms module was being re-done and it was supposed to be in 7.3 but that didnt happen so maybe 7.4
-
yes this will effect the end users running windows 7 and the desktop apps. if you try to install 7.3 desktop apps on a windows 7 machine you will get an error saying desktop apps cannot connect
-
this is probably easier done using a sql statement instead of the graphical designer
-
their help is poorly updated..i'll test it on my end to see if i can get it to work.
-
i believe it is compatible with cloud

what you can do is on the new server create a new file cabinet with the same exact index fields. migrate the 3 weeks of data/documents to that new file cabinet then move them from the new file cabinet to the existing file cabinet on the new server
-
if you are using Kofax Autostore you do not need to use the xml meta data with an import job. AutoStore has a DocuWare connector that can be utilized to index directly on the screen and then store directly to file cabinet.

its possible your fulltext service is pointing to a file/folder from a previously installed version of Java - in screenshot 3 double check the path it is pointing to. update it to point to the newest version of java installed.
