Behavior:
When attempting to map a field to your DocuWare Date field in Autoindex, you are unable to see your data source date column available.

Solution:
This is due to the data source date column not being of type "Date". If your Autoindex job is using a Database Connection, go to the source database table and make sure that the column field type is "Date".

If your Autoindex job is using a File Connection, please to do the following:

  1. Go into your File Connection in the DocuWare Administration Tool.
     
  2. Find your Date column. By default, this is set to Type "Text", which is why is it unable to be selected as the data assignment in your Autoindex job.

     
  3. You'll need to use the drop down to change the Type from "Text" to "Date" and then adjust the Date and time format accordingly with the ellipsis.

     
  4. Click Apply to save your changes.
     
  5. Refresh your Autoindex job, and the data source Date field should be available for data assignment.
