Uninstall Internet Explorer via Windows Features.

DocuWare 7.6 & above
Ensure that Microsoft Edge has been installed on your machine since Connect to Outlook now uses Microsoft Edge WebView2. 
Additionally, make sure that Edge has been updated to the latest version. Otherwise, the following description will be displayed:
 
"Update your browser
Your browser is outdated or not supported. Please update it to the latest version or switch to one of the recommended browsers"
