The following special characters are invalid and should not be used in database passwords;
 
Percent Sign %
Ampersand &
Slash with Question Mark /?
Colon :
Greater-than Sign >
Circumflex ^
Pipe |
Inverted Question Mark ¿
Paragraph symbol §
Open and closed parentheses ( )
 
These characters and combinations can cause various login problems within a DocuWare system.
