Behavior:
When upgrading the DocuWare Desktop Apps to DocuWare 7.11, the following installation error occurs;
'The command "netsh.exe http add sslcert ipport=127.0.0.1:8091 exited with code 1'
Solution:
This error occurred because of changes in DocuWare 7.11, which is preventing certain communications between DocuWare versions 7.10 and below. To install/upgrade to DocuWare 7.11 or downgrade from 7.11, please refer to the following guide;
1. Uninstall Desktop Apps completely. Refer to KBA-36563 for a guide on uninstalling DocuWare Desktop Apps.
2. Uninstall Client Setup from the control panel.
3. Browser to C:\Program Files (x86)\DocuWare\, and you should see a file named "Client Setup." Please delete or rename this file to ensure it can be recreated.
4. Reinstall the Client Setup using a download (Web Client dropdown > Desktop Apps > Install Desktop Apps) from the system you are attempting to connect to. This will ensure the correct DocuWare Desktop version.
