Upgrade 6.8 to 6.12 running MS SQL-1521145597

v. 6.8  on MS SQL 2014 12.0.4232.0

Is there anything I need to be aware of before I upgrade this system to 6.12?

Basic configuration no workflows or modules installed.

I read about turning off replication and mirroring in the K. Center.

That should be a straight-forward upgrade. MSSQL 2014 was supported on 6.8 so I don't see any issues.
Disable any custom triggers in the database if there are any.

Please ensure that all transaction logs are truncated before starting. This for all databases where the recovery mode is set to "Full". The TRX logs will grow like topsy as DocuWare recreates tables, and if they are large to start with it can be a point of failure where MSSQL cannot respond in time. While checking TRX logs ensure that growth rates are set to a sensible value.
