Index from file name

Hi , i have a client that have their documents like %Number%-%Client%-%another Data%.* . The documents are not structured. I try to configure the import but only leave me put <filename>, is there any way to take those index files in separated?

DocuWare does not provide any further text extraction for the document file name. You can only select filename or file name and extension. The only possibility would be post processing the document after it is stored, using Workflow Manager to split the file name in to other index fields. Of course, if the customer does not have Workflow Manager then that is not an option. The SDK or a database trigger would be the only other options. Database triggers are problematic as they must be carefully written to only trigger once on a document, and must be disabled before upgrading DocuWare.
