Export of older DocuWare file cabinets

Does any of you have any experience with exporting DW archives of an old (not supported anymore) version of DocuWare and import them in a new 7.3 (cloud or on premise) system?

We have several clients with older DW versions that would be interested in migrating to cloud, but today before we can do that we have to update their current system to 7.3. This updating is not always possible. Most of the time the servers are too old and moreover updating requires professional services that are not in proportion to the result that needs to be obtained. If we can export somehow and directly import in a new system this would make the difference and allow us to keep these clients. Even if this import is limited to only a reading right. We just need the documents to be viewed.
