I have two users in Accounts Payable that are assigning tasks in the same workflow. I already have a substitution list that User A is first and User B is second.
When user B enters a new task from her tray, the tasks is owned by User A and replies to that task will go to User A. Is there a way to assign ownership of the task before it hits the workflow or am I going to have to have a parallel workflow that that User A and B are separate?
If you are selecting users in that manner, they will all get the same task. If any one of them take action on it the task is completed.
Do the people that are being sent the task change at all?
Thanks, I just wanted to see if anything has changed.
How are you assigning the task to the users? There are a few ways to do this.
Did you ever get this resolved?
I am using the "Store email and attachments individually option" in our new AP workflow to separate a single PDF that has multiple invoices in it. The invoice has the e-mail separated and it is stored in the tray as one document and is not split and intelligently index. I know this is a feature of 7.3. I still have to manually unstaple every time. What am I missing on this?
I have a request from my company that I am not seeing an option for. I have Out Of Office set up and working perfectly. My scenario is with my purchasing workflow. Managers are requesting that requisitions that they are holding, not be sent to the alternate person when Out Of Office is turned on. I was under the impression that only new items in the workflow obey the Out Of Office rule. This is not the case. A manager turned on Out of Office and everything that she was holding went to the assistance tasks with no way to reverse it.
Has anyone had a request like this? Is it an option that I just don't know about yet? Or maybe it's just not an option but, a feature suggestion?
