Time Delay says "No Global Variables to select from"

I'm trying to create a Time Delay that hopefully waits until the current date is the same as the one in a Refresher Date Global Variable before continuing the workflow. Even though I have the Global Variable set up including an Assign Data step, I'm getting an error in the Time Delay that won't let me select any Global Variables

If I recall correctly, Your GV needs to be of type Date with Time.
