After I upgrade from 7.5 to 7.6 I know I will need to reinstall the desktop applications. Can this be done on any user or are they install for specific users? If I can use any user then I can just sign in with my credentials, do the upgrade and I don't need the user around.

Hello Bernie,

this can done by every user itself normally .

Everyone which has already installed the DocuWare Desktop Apps, or rather anyone, who really needs the DocuWare Desktop Apps (e.g. for the functions DocuWare Connect to Outlook, Import, Export, Printer and so on) just have to update the DocuWare Desktop Apps by using the Update function of the Desktop Apps.

HowTo: -> Close all other open Applications (especially Microsoft Outlook) -> Right click on the blue DocuWare Desktop Apps logo in the System tray -> Check for Updates -> Install the Update -> Restart the respective PC or Notebook. Finish

We are stalled on the upgrade right now. Level two support is involved. But hopefully they will get the system back up today.
