DW not picking up group-change in Active Directory

I seem to recall that if a user is already created in DW and is part of a group then the user synchronization workflow won't pick up the fact that they've been moved into a different AD group and move them into the matching group in DW accordingly.  Is that the case? Is there any workaround that will allow us to just move the user into their new AD group and have DW automatically make the corresponding change?

This is absolutely correct, DocuWare User Sync will 'move' the users for you to a new group. However, this always depends on the actual configuration.

Which User Synchronization are you using? The integrated one in DocuWare Administration, referred to as User Sync V1, or the standalone Desktop App, referred to as V2. See screenshots below:

Hi Thomas, we're using User Sync v1.  We're finding that DW will not move the user to the new group if they're an already-existing user in DW - are you saying that we should be able to configure it so that DW will actually move them to the new group? Or does V2 have that capability?
