Is it possible to auto populate an index field on the top level document from the last document when clipping?
Scenario:
User prints in Doc1 from ERP system and Doc2(email) from Outlook. Both documents have templates setup in the DocuWare configurator and identify and index the fields assigned. Both documents are setup to be stored in the same cabinet so they have the same amount of index fields.
When looking at the documents individually we can see the captured index fields accordingly. Lets say the cabinet has a total of 5 index fields; Doc1 fills in 3 index fields while Doc2 fills in the last two index fields.
When we go to clip the two documents together to store with Doc1 being the top level the captured index from Doc2 do not populate into the top level. I'm assuming this because they're technically two differently documents and clipping does not make them one document. It there an autoindex workflow that can look at the clip together documents, look at the document type of Doc2 and fill-in the index field on the top level?
Or do I need to write a little program to look at the XML of the clipped file and extract the info there?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Neal
