Slow performance
A version 6.6 system customer is complaining about slow performance when storing documents and loading images in the viewer. There is plenty of space on the server drives, it is an 8 core system with 8 GB of RAM. There are 677,074 documents currently in the data table and the system was re-started last night.
We have noticed processor spikes of up to 100% every few seconds that seem to be associated with MySQLd-nt.exe and Tomcat8.exe. This seems logical as when each document gets stored it would require a response from both of these services.
Is this behavior expected and would it cause a noticeable slowdown in performance? The customer did not complain until 2 days ago. Prior to that all seemed well.
Thanks,

Upgrade path to version 7 document
I need to send an 'Upgrade path to version 7 document' to an on premises end user but cannot seem to find it anywhere. Do we have such a document?
Clus for the clueless appreciated,

Log file cleanup
I have a version 6.6 system with over 25GB of log files in C:\inetpub\logs\LogFiles\W3SVC1. The system is running very slowly as the free space on C: is pretty low. Is there any reason to not delete all this fluff?
Thanks,

Last Access field in System Entries
Am I correct in assuming that if the Last Access field in the System Entries (Result list->Edit Index Entries->System Entries) contains the user who has just now retrieved the document and exact time that it is at the moment he is viewing the record, that there has been no previous access to this document and that this is the very first entry? Version is 6.6.

Who created this Document Tray?
Thanks Josef for that info and Joe for all the work that went into that query. My DB is MySQL and unfortunately using that query as is throws syntax errors. I'm not an SQL expert so I have no idea yet what needs to be changed for my environment. I'll poke at it a little and see if I can make it work.
That said I would rather see DocuWare give us an admin option for this kind of situation. Of course the best way to solve this problem is to prevent it in the first place through permission administration. That takes away the user's ability to create a 'private' Tray or Cabinet however. Maybe DW could add Document Tray rights in the 'Show user rights' option in the admin tool. Then when deleting or disabling a user we could first check to see what dependencies exist. I'm just sayin'...

Who created this Document Tray?
A user is trying to delete 2 document trays, both named Inbox, to remove a dependency on a File Cabinet so that it can be deleted. Is there a way to indentify the creator of the tray assuming the user that created it did not add the Administartor to the permissions or may have even left the organization?

Task Lists show in Client but there is no 'List' tab in configuration
Task Lists show in Client but there is no 'List' tab in configuration. (v6.12 on premises)
I'm not sure how these Task Lists were created as the end user has no Task Manager license. She did have a trial of Workflow Manager but it has since expired. Perhaps that is what allowed it?
She now wishes to delete the test file cabinet with which these lists are associated but the dependency prevents that.
Any clues appreciated

Tobias,
Tobias,
This looks like exactly what I needed. Many thanks.

Tobias, thanks for your
Tobias, thanks for your response. I have an on premises system and I have moved the ERP web service parts from the Peters Engineering demo to my IIS and they do respond. I'm not much of a coder so I would be in the dark making my own service.
We have a customer who is using a 3rd party invoicer and they want us to send them some info about invoices that have been approved. They have their own ReST API and suggested we use that. I thought if they could provide us with a URL to their service it would be easy for us to use the call from Workflow Manager to send them what they need. But I will have to describe to them what they need to provide in their ASMX. Is there a document that describes the process at a higher level?
Thanks again,

Functions Overview
The most recent DocuWare Function Overview document I can find is for Version 6.9. Does anyone know where I can obtain one for v6.12 (or better yet v7).
Thanks,
