How do you create a data record from an external database?
I plan to create a file cabinet based on an external database, essentially migrating the whole data from a database "view". What are some approaches we can do? I read in the DocuWare feature list that this is included in DocuWare Autoindex - "Create a record in DocuWare if no document can be found for an external record" under DocuWare Autoindex. I've searched the Autoindex module within the system but I can't seem to find it. This is explicitly creating a data record instead of populating existing records/documents within DocuWare.
We're using the latest DocuWare Cloud, which is 7.2 -
How to use DocuWare Request Import in Cloud?
The storage location is predefined for the DocuWare Request Import in Cloud. While I am able to create a Request Export to my local computer, how do I use this file to create an import job? Thank you. -

How about the configuration for users, groups, roles, and rights? I believe we will have to do this from scratch.

Can't Turn On Intelligent Indexing for Document Tray
Hi,
I can't seem to turn on intelligent indexing for a new document tray that I created. It's just grayed out.
Does DocuWare Cloud have a limit on the number of document trays available for Intelligent Indexing?

Migration from DocuWare On Premise to Cloud
Hi,
We have a client who suddenly wants to migrate to DocuWare Cloud from On Premise.
There are no documents stored yet in the file cabinet, so it will mostly be just carrying over the configuration done.
Is it possible to use the File Cabinet "Export" function from DW Configuration in On Premise, and "Import" this to Cloud so we don't have to re-do all the file cabinet configuration? The exported file will be an XML file.

How to define when to be notified about upcoming tasks?
When using task manager/lists, is it possible to set up a notification as well as its frequency for upcoming tasks?
I have set up a list where it monitors documents that will expire within the next 30 days. How can I set up the task manager to keep on notifying a user based on a set frequency if they haven't acted on the document that will expire? -
How to Delete Dialogs?
I can't seem to find the option to delete dialogs. Can anyone help me out?

Logging Destination/Agent Setup for Audit Trail
Hi,
Has DocuWare gone away with the creation of logging agent/destination in the DW Administration for audit trails? I used to be able to create before, but now I don't see an option to create a new loggging agent/destination anymore.
I see there is now an audit report option at the web client configuration, however, the details provided there are too minimal for our client's needs.
They prefer the level of detail provided by the logging agent/destination audit trail.

Just found out from the
Just found out from the Desktop Apps History that DocuWare Printer is unable to detect the configuration I created that is why there is no letterhead appearing. How do we go about this since the configuration is fixed to automatically detect the configuration to use? I am using the exact same sample document I uploaded to test this and DocuWare is still unable to find a matching DW Printer configuration for it.

Autoindex Before Storing in File Cabinet
Is there a way to have Autoindex run for documents in the document tray? So that users can see the data retrieved first for validation before storing in the file cabinet.
There are limitations with the way Autoindex works right now where documents need to be stored first and the matching process happens in the back end. It is not very reassuring to clients who process thousands of documents and need to validate indices first before storing in file cabinets.
