Uploading Files to DocuWare from MS Teams Chat

Hello everyone

I'm trying to get the DocuWare feature to work, which should allow me to upload files directly from an MS Teams chat.

I followed all the necessary steps described here (https://help.docuware.com/#/home/91223/2/2). Sadly, the option to "Import attachements'' shown under ''Importing files from a chat or channel'' is not shown to me. 

Is this a known bug or is there something big I'm missing.

Hi Philipp Wilhelm,

check if it is available in "More actions"/"Weitere Aktionen"?

Is the app available in the app section (three dots on the left bar) of Microsoft Teams?

Figured it out, i think

I enabled and pinned the Microsoft Workflow app in Teams. After doing this i got the option to Import into Docuware.
Attached are two screenshots of the before and after of adding the Workflow App to my MS Teams.

Is the workflow app really needed to make it work?
Also, for my colleague (who didn't enable MS Workflow)  it show the Option to Import where i have the option to "show as unread" a Teams Message which is weird. 
So I might still write a support ticket with the various screenshots of different instances.

 

after restarting my pc i got the option to import as shown on help.docuware

so now i'm really confused :)

glad it works now! 
There is no relationship with the Microsoft Workflow App. So initially the "import attachments" should be inside "More actions", then after using it, it will be available directly in the context menu. But this mechanism is part of Microsoft Teams and could change without notice.
