Behavior:
It does not work to create a connection from the Web Client for DocuWare Desktop. The used browser is Google Chrome.
Solution:
- The Web Client URL and http://127.0.0.1 are not in the same (Trusted) zone of Internet Options. (error message)
- Silverlight is not installed. (no message)
Behavior:
DocuWare Printer is not showing any sign of activity.
Solution:
Install C++ runtime 2010, both versions on x64 Systems, and reinstall the DocuWare printer driver afterwards.
Behavior:
DocuWare Import is not working for network folders.
Solution:
Change the DocuWare Desktop service user, you have to use a user, which has enough rights.
Behavior:
Signature is not working.
Solution:
If the import configuration ‘signature’ is not working on all machines or on some machines, it is working only partly, you have to install the certificate for all users or in Local Machine Store. This type of certificate store is local to the computer and is global to all users on the computer. This certificate store is located in the registry under the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE root.
Behavior:
Big files cannot be uploaded.
Solution:
If the upload of big documents always fails, you have to adapt the line:
<add key="MaxRequestSizeKilobytes" value="100000"/> (value is in KB)

Behavior:
Document upload does not work at all.
Solution:
Check if a authenticated Proxy is used, Because then the default service user "LocalSystem" cannot access the internet. Change the user and make sure, he has sufficient rights.
Behavior:
DocuWare Import is not importing all files, some simply vanish.
Solution:
Some files are not imported, even though they disappear from the folder. When retrying to upload the same file again it sometimes works.
If you have this behavior, please check if the watch folder is watched twice.
Behavior:
DocuWare Import does not import other files than PDF.
Solution:
The Import configuration for a certain watch folder shows clearly, that all file types are supported. Nevertheless the DocuWare Import does not take other files than PDF.
Solution: The watcher has to be restarted in such a kind of change, because it is not polling continuously for changes in the configuration.
