  • HTTPS guide for DW7 upgrades

Has anyone created a checklist for all the items that need doing for IIS, DW and the network, to prepare HTTPS in DW7?

There are several KBAs with partial needs/requirements but no apparent comprehensive list or guide.

    Thanks
  • Workflow lists

Client Result lists can be exported several ways, including CSV. I've found no way to do the same with Workflow Task lists. Does anyone have a workaround to create a CSV for Tasks?
  • RE: Workflow License permissions

Which of the Desktop Apps function and to what degree under the Workflow License?
  • RE: User permissions report

StapleWare Audit might be another alternative.
  • Flatten a stored fillable PDF

It appears the a fillable PDF stored in DocuWare can be edited for all it's fillable fields in a PDF editor.
Is there a DocuWare option to flatten the PDF and replace it?
  • RE: MySQL 8 and DW7.3 are not compatible.

UPDATE - DW Support now says

"The most recent version of MySQL 64-bit for DW7.3 on-premises is 5.6.25."
  • RE: MySQL 8 and DW7.3 are not compatible.

Requirement listing in the DW7.3 software package was apparently mistaken.Correct requirements appear to be at http://help.docuware.com/#/home/55049/2/2
  • MySQL 8 and DW7.3 are not compatible.

After failing to install DW7.3 on MySQL 8, DW Support confirms,

"They are not compatible and it is not supported. We apologize for the inconvenience."
  • Reboot does not reset the message bus.

DWSupport states that "clearing the messagebus queue is separate and it is not included in a...reboot"

So don't trust that periodic reboots will clear it and if you think it needs resetting, do it manually!
