We have on-premise clients who access their DocuWare database to create important reports using third party applications. This is crucial to their daily operations. They have expressed interest in moving over to DW Cloud, but we have been informed they will no longer be able to access the database by doing so. Is this correct and is there a workaround for this?

Raymond,
You are correct there is no access to the DocuWare Cloud database. There is no work-around. Apart from synchronizing the Cloud cabinets back to an on-premise system - which kind of defeats the purpose here.

Thanks Phil! Is it possible to synchronize the cloud database to a local database like MySQL or MS SQL and use that instead for reports?

Raymond,
No you cannot just synchronize the database. You can only synchronize the file cabinet which means you must brin gthe documents down as well.
