We started initially using LDAP synchronization and users listed in the Configuration - User Management would have email addresses if they had email.  We were having issues with the LDAP synch job being reliable and being able to see groups in certain OU's and decided to try an Active Directory Synchronization job.  This has been working great as far as users synching after being added to an AD group.  However, I discovered thta people that have email do not have their name or email address listed in the User Management only their user name.  Is there any way with Active Directory synchronization job to be able to have their name and email address as well?

Nicole,
DocuWare AD Sync can't bring over e-mail addresses, but we have been using MSSQL ADSI linked server, and a sql script that populates some columns in dwsystem.dbo.dwuser table based on username. If you need info on how to create ADSI Linked server and query it - there are many references on Internet.
I do not think this method would be recommended by DocuWare, but works for us. Just be careful updating DocuWare system tables.

Hi Nicole,

if you are using the User Sync V1 from DocuWare Administration you need to choose the correct attribute for the email address.
See https://support.docuware.com/en-us/knowledgebase/article/KBA-34329

If you are using User Sync V2 (Desktop App) the email address is transferred automatically
