Behavior:
When trying to print, or download a large document, a new web page opens and finally errors out with the following error;
502 - - Web server received an invalid response while acting as a gateway or proxy server. There is a problem with the page you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed. When the Web server (while acting as a gateway or proxy) contacted the upstream content server, it received an invalid response from the content server.
Solution:
In ARR, the default timeout in proxy configuration is set to 30 seconds. Please have an IT administrator raise this timeout value.
You can raise this time out value to 60 seconds (increase more as needed) in (IIS Manager -> ServerFarm -> Proxy -> Timeout)
Then perform an IISRESET and test functionality with the file again.
Note: This solution is only applicable for On-Premise environments with an ARR Server configuration in IIS.
