Behavior:
The "Connect an Email Account" does not appear for a General Email configuration that was created.
 

 
Solution:
This behavior occurs when the DocuWare account does not have the Use permission in the General Email configuration. To resolve this behavior, this permission must be granted before the account can connect to an email account. This can be done by navigating to the Permissions tab of the General Email Configuration and granting the user Use or Administrate rights.
 
The following are further details on each permission.
  • Use: This configuration can be used by the assigned user to connect an email account.
  • Administrate: This user can edit and delete this configuration.
