By product design, DocuWare’s API has a limit of 10,000 documents, which also applies to our Export App. If you need to export more than 10,000 documents, the trigger rules and post-export Assign Data options can be used to achieve this:

By product design, DocuWare’s API has a limit of 10,000 documents, which also applies to our Export App. If you need to export more than 10,000 documents, the trigger rules and post-export Assign Data options can be used to achieve this:
- Open the Export Data configuration page.
- In the General tab, make a note of your Rule/Filter:
- In the Assign Data tab, ensure we’re changing the value that we used initially so that these documents won't be eligible to be exported again.
- Run the Export job. This will still only export 10,000 at a time; however, you can run the job multiple times, and the Rule & Assign Data settings will prevent previously exported documents from being included in the next batch.
Additionally, it is best practice to combine the CSV files by opening Excel or Notepad, pressing Ctrl + A to copy the contents of the file, and then pasting them into the larger file.
