Behavior:
On your DocuWare on-premise system, you have noticed that you can't execute processes like Auto-Index, Transfer, File-Cabinet Synchronization, or Deletion Policy from the browser configuration page. The operations start and almost immediately stop, without any log or result.
You have validated, that Message Queuing is enabled and no additional DocuWare system is within the same VLAN / subnet. Details on the required technology can be found here: White Paper on-premises: communication technologies

Answer:
Based on DocuWare Support experience, we have validated, that the application Dynatrace OneAgent is disrupting the DocuWare communication, preventing processes from starting and working correctly.

We were able to gain the experience that the Dynatrace OneAgent especially blocks the communication between the DocuWare Web-Interface and the Backend-Processes.
To resolve the behavior, contact the Dynatrace responsible to validate the following:
  1. If possible, modify Dynatrace to exclude processes or tasks performed by DocuWare
  2. Remove / adapt any monitoring operation on Message Queueing (MSMQ) to enable DocuWare to communicate correctly
  3. Should the above points still prevent DocuWare from operating correctly, remove the Dynatrace OneAgent completely from the DocuWare server(s)

Latest after removing Dynatrace OneAgent from the DocuWare server(s) customers and DocuWare Support were able to observe, that the DocuWare processes could be performed.
