Behavior: 
When attempting to open the Indexing Assistance plug-in, you encounter the following error.

ERROR: “HTTP Error 503. The service is unavailable.”


Solution: 
Either one or both of the following steps will resolve this error:

  1. Restart the DocuWare Indexing Assistance App Pool in IIS Manager by right-clicking the application pool, then selecting Stop, then Start


     

  2. Re-enter the password for the user running the DocuWare Application Pool within IIS Manager. If you require assistance with changing the user in charge of your IIS application pools, please refer to the steps outlined in KBA-37508
