Here is a link to a document I did recently to use a simple workflow to filter an index value. You will use the same principal to extract the parts of the index field containing the file name. You just need to extract the string parts either side of the hyphen.
The workflow is triggered on storage of a document with a specific field empty, in your case, I would trigger it on the filename field containing a hyphen, and the 2 target field being empty.
If your date field, is a true date field then you need to convert the extracted field to a date otherwise the assignment may fail.

Please open a support request. You cannot just run a restore and expect DocuWare to 'know' about these disks from another file cabinet. The name of the disks is irrelevant. The GUID's of the disks have to match and the disks registered against the new file cabinet.

Interesting. That is contrary to what I understand so I will look in to it. Regardless, alter the preferences in the editor to allow editing PDF/A.

DocuWare Printer, Printer PS and DocuWare Scan create PDF/A documents. The import process does not create a PDF document, it simply imports it. Having said that, you cannot disable the creation of PDF/A documents by the DocuWare Apps mentioned above. However you CAN edit a PDF/A document.
Depending on the PDF Editor, you need to go in to the application preferences, and set it to allow editing of PDF/A documents. In  FoxIt Phantom PDF, this setting can be found under:

Preferences > Documents > PDF/A View mode > View documents in PDF/A mode:
There are 2 settings:

Only for PDF/A documents or Never.

The Never setting allows editing of PDF/A documents.

Consult the Help of the editor you are using to make the appropriate change for that app.

Presently only MSSQL Servers 2008, 2012, 2014, and  2016 is offically supported up to DocuWare version 7. This is because MSSQL Server 2017 was released in October 2017 which was too late to include in DocuWare 7. (DocuWare 6.12 was released prior to MSSQL 2017 release).

I expect MSSQL 2017 to be officially supported with the release of DocuWare 7.1.

The control used here in Forms is the same Date Picker control used througout DocuWare. The range displayed is intended, although it is rather large IMHO.

I think you can just use this in the SQL Qury window:

INVOICE_STATUS <> LONGER_INVOICE_STATUS

No quotes or other modifiers.

This may not be possible. There are many Cloud servers and the font would need to be installed on all of them due to the load-balancing. More to the point, if this is a commercial font (that is it has been purchased by the customer) I doubt that the licensing for the font would permit it to be installed on a publicly facing server, since it would then be available to any user of that server.

It certainly is an odd way of solving a problem. I have not seen any of our Pro Services engineers use that method here in the US. But undoubtedly they were using a work-around. Before you consider going to DocuWare 7, please check the technical documentation on the changes in workflows so that you do not get any more surprises!
