Behavior:
When attempting to update the Desktop App, it fails to proceed and displays an endless loop with the message "Just a moment..."



Solution:
Please refer to the following guide to resolve this behavior;

1. Open Task Manager and stop the following services if they are running;

  • DocuWare.Desktop.Service
  • DocuWare.Setup.Client.Update.Service
  • Local Data Connector DataService

2. Once completed, rerun the Client Setup with administrative rights and the installation should proceed without issue.
