How to create a symbol stamp without using a bitmap?
Answer:
To create a stamp which uses an Unicode symbol, please follow these steps:
- Open the DocuWare Administration.
- Create a new stamp and set the type to text stamp.
- On the "General Stamp Design" page, configure the stamp as desired.
- On the "Stamp Design Text Stamp" page, add the desired Unicode symbol into the text box, for example a check mark (✓, U+2713):
- Choose a desired font, style and size.
- Complete the remaining dialog pages as usual.
Starting with DocuWare 6.6, we also recommend setting the following options:
- Store stamp: By user action
- Keep stamp active: Yes
These options allow you to quickly place multiple symbols on a document.
In addition to checkmarks, you can use a huge variety of Unicode symbols, including the ones below:
