Question:
When performing an upgrade, will my Internal Database be upgraded to V2?
Solution:
When upgrading to DocuWare 6.9 and higher from an earlier version, the Internal Database version will remain the same. Internal Database V2 is only installed through the setup during a clean install of the Internal Database. If you would like to utilize Internal Database V2, please follow the steps below.
Backup ALL DocuWare databases. (Analyze the backups to make sure they are valid before uninstalling)
Uninstall Internal Database.
Install Internal Database through the setup. This is install V2.
