How can the DocuWare Printer used together with SAP?
Answer:
To be able to print from the SAP GUI follow the steps described below. Be aware that this will only work starting from SAP ECC 6.0, not in older versions.
- Open Transaction SPAD
- Display output devices
- DeviceEdit existing or create new output device
- Device Class "Standard printer"Attributes: Change device type to "TWSAPWIN: MS Windows driver via SAPLPD" and take the
- Access Method: Select "G: Front End Printing with Control Tech." and enter "DocuWare Printer" for host printer. (Do not check "No Device Selection at Frontend".)
Now in each case of printing, a pop up will be displayed and the "DocuWare Printer" is selected as default.
