have done quite a few of these and am having a really weird issue. This is a v-sphere environment. The new server is up and running. We have renamed the old docuware server and named the new vm the same hostname as old. reattached all data drives to new server. Ran 6.9 installation of the Internal DB only. Install mysql and the admin tools. restored the backup from the old server. Same hostname as before so nothing needs to be changed in the tables. When I run the 6.9 install again to install Authentication Server it goes to change installation then asks for the Org name, admin username and password for port 9000 to connect to authentication server??? i haven't even installed Auth server yet.. Not sure what is going on here

There is a problem with 6.9 and 6.10 with the installer where if the
database already exists then it wants Auth sever to be running.
Of course it is not installed and therefore blocks you.
You need support to assist you at
this point
