Hello everybody,
is there any chance to change path for Docuware Request temporary writing?
Actually it writes in a subfolder of ProgramData in C. I have to create an USB support for a customer. Its  archive has about 1 million files.
Docuware is installed on premise. Version 6.12
Problem is that C disk is an SSD drive of 256GB with 50GB free at the moment and temp space is near 90GB.....
Do you have any idea ?

Thanks

Sabino

In the DocuWare Administration program, go to Storage locations and create  a new storage location using a UNC path. Only check the Request box. In the other storage locations un-check Request. Apply the settings. Now in configurations for request, the new storage path should be available.

Hello Phil,
the problem is that Docuware writes first in a temporary location all docs and then moves to final storage set in Request configuration.
It doesn't write directly to the defined storage.....

Thanks

Sabino,
Ok. I am thinking it is writing to the System Storage path first. So here's what you need to do:

Create a new storage location for the system on a drive with sufficient space. Create a 2 level directory:
DocuWare \ SystemStorage

Stop all DocuWare Services except for Authentication Server.
Log in to DocuWare Administration and navigate to DocuWare System > General.
There you will see the entry "System storage path".
Browse to your new system storage path and select it.
Apply the changes.
Log out of the Admin program and restart all DocuWare services including Authentication Server.
Perform an IIS Reset.
Check that the new System Storage path is being written to. (I expect that the system should create some folders).
Log in to DocuWare and check that everything is running normally, then try a Request job.
