• RE: Fulltext option : Textshot

Scott, I do not recommend editing the _PAGE table.  Do you have some sample .MAG files from the customer's Fortis install that you can share with us so we can investigate?  Feel free to email them to me directly.

  • RE: Fulltext option : Textshot

Hi Scott - The textshot will be created for the first page in each document even if Full Text is disabled for the File Cabinet.  The textshot is not just used for Full Text, it is also used for Document Processing as well as One Click Indexing.

I have created a new Support Request on your behalf and I will contact you via email with the next steps.  I will also look into reason why you cannot create new Support Requests.

    Hi Mary Lynn,

The error is stating that FortisBlue is unable to open the FortisAuditing database due to a login failure.  Can you check to see if the SAV_CHEMTALL\fbowner user still exists in the SQL Logins?  Also make sure that user has permissions to open the FortisAuditing database (it's likely that the fbowner user should be the owner of the database).

If you still need assistance beyond that, please open a new Support Request via the Support Portal and we can take a closer look for you.

    Hi Tim,

You will need to first set up Script Manager in the Admin session, which is the session that is being accessed while running as a service.

When you open Script Manager as an application, make sure you right click on the shortcut and Run As Administrator.  Once you do that you will notice that the databases are not yet set up or configured.  Manually configure them again but leave them open, then click Server - Exit.  Then start the Script Manager service again.  You can verify that it is running by checking the logs.  There should be a line that states Monitoring Operations Started.

If you still have trouble or the service still doesn't seem to be working, please open a new Support Request.

    Kevin,

The checkboxes on the login screen only apply to the current session of ImageIt.  If ImageIt is closed (in the tray), those settings will be cleared.

If you would like the user to automatically be logged in via NT Auth or their user credentials hard coded, you will have to adjust the ImageIt profile that they're using.

    Hi Bernie,

That is a different error which indicates that there is an issue with the Proxy User that you have entered, or some of the other binding options.

Can you please open a new Support Request via the Support Portal?  That way we can get some more information about your current install and troubleshoot this further.  Thank you.
