Migration from DocuWare On Premise to Cloud

Hi,

We have a client who suddenly wants to migrate to DocuWare Cloud from On Premise. 

There are no documents stored yet in the file cabinet, so it will mostly be just carrying over the configuration done. 

Is it possible to use the File Cabinet "Export" function from DW Configuration in On Premise, and "Import" this to Cloud so we don't have to re-do all the file cabinet configuration? The exported file will be an XML file.

yes you can export the file cabinet configuration and import it to the cloud system.
After you imported the configuration, you need to reassign the dialogs.

How about the configuration for users, groups, roles, and rights? I believe we will have to do this from scratch.

yes, you would have to do the user configuration again.
For the users them self you could use the User synchronization.
