PaperScan & DocuWare Mobile Apps File Location

During this pandemic, we would like to have our staff start using the PaperScan & DocuWare Mobile Apps. We are a public body in British Columbia, Canada, which has strict privacy legislation and does not allow us to store personal information outside of the country. If I were to take a scan using my mobile device and the PaperScan app, where is the scan stored? On a PaperScan server? On my device? I assume the DW Mobile app stores everything within our DW server (local, not cloud), once connected to it. Could you please confirm where the documents are stored for both apps?

this is quite easy to answer:

• PaperScan stores the documents only on the device, there is no PaperScan server
• The Mobile app does only access the documents in your DocuWare system and stores the document there.
