restarting the Background and workflow server services fixes issue so that is the workaround for now.

it is weird. I can go to the documents that I know the workflows should have started for and look at WF History and it says no workflows have been started. Then after I restart the services all of the documents that should have triggered the workflow now trigger and start. I will create a service request.

We are on DocuWare  intermittentley workflows will not start. After restarting the workflow server and background services all the documents entered that workflow hasn't started on start the workflows. Has anyone run into this? Is there a hotfix for this?

would be done in administration. I am referring to setting up filtered dialogs for users to restrict access to certain documents in the file cabinet.

do you have any filters turned on for the dialogs? I have seen this when there are filters turned on and the users don't have access to the document in the dialog.

We have a client that has asked an interesting question. I am not 100% sure it can be done so I thought I would put it here. They have student records that they choose to share with administration but they want to have expiration of view. So, if they have a student that needs review, they would share that students file with the admin staff and teach but want it to expire after a certain amount of time. Would this be possible?
